# Workspace details: members, sharing, and settings

> Review a workspace's owners and members, revoke sharing links, check its activity, and change its template, retention policy, or sensitivity label.

The workspace details page shows everything about one SharePoint site, Teams-connected site, or OneDrive. Open it by clicking a workspace in the [workspaces directory](/workspaces/directory.md).

## Tabs

| Tab | What it shows | What you can do |
| - | - | - |
| **Overview** | Title, type, URL, owner, sensitivity label, template, hub, created date, last activity, and storage. Key numbers: members, files, sharing links, external users, and activity in the last 30 days. | Open the workspace in Microsoft 365, in the review portal, or in the permissions matrix report. |
| **Members** | Owners, direct members, members inherited through groups, and guests. Each row shows how the person got access. Owners are listed first. | Add an owner, remove a member, change a permission level, or copy the access path. |
| **Sharing** | The workspace's sharing posture and every active sharing link (Anyone, People in your organization, Specific people, or Guest), with expiration and recipients. | Set a link expiration, revoke a link, change the default link type, or limit sharing to specific people. |
| **Activity** | The audit trail grouped by action: file create, edit, and share; permission changes; member changes; external shares; and settings changes. | Filter, export, or open the [audit log](/audit-log.md) filtered to this workspace. |
| **Settings** | Template, retention policy, sensitivity label, hub association, regional settings, sharing capabilities, and version history limit. | Change any of these settings. |

## Reduce oversharing

**1. Check the sharing posture**

Open the **Sharing** tab and look for **Anyone** links and links without an expiration.

**2. Revoke or limit links**

Revoke links that are no longer needed, or set an expiration on the ones you keep.

**3. Tighten the default**

Change the default link type to **Specific people** so new links are not shared broadly.

For a tenant-wide view, use the sharing reports in the [reports library](/reports/library.md#sharing-and-access).
